Technoform Glassinsulation

Saving money

TGI-Spacer improve the insulation properties of your windows to keep your house warm in winter and cool in summer. While contributing to save money on energy bills, TGI-Spacers will also help the environment by reducing CO2 emissions.

What is a spacer?

A spacer is a component that separates and seals the panes of glass within a double or triple glazed window.

How does the TGI-Spacer let you save money and reduce CO2 emmisions?

The TGI-Spacer is much less conductive than a traditional spacer bar made of aluminium. This means that using a TGI-Spacer energy will not be easily transferred through the windows:

  • During the cold months hot air is trapped inside your home, while cold air stays outside
  • During the warm months the windows produce the opposite effect by keeping the hot air out of your home

Keeping your family healthy

When the air in a room is moist, condensation can occur on the pane of glass in contact with warmer air. TGI-Spacers can avoid the formation of condensation or mould through better insulation by keeping the inner pane of glass at the same temperature as the internal air.
